Mary Maher - Program Lead
Being a vineyard manager checked all the boxes for Mary; collaboration of ideas, working with the soil, the interface of farming and nature, and the intersections of science and farming. Working over 35 years now in vineyards has been a great gift, and she has been fortunate to work with people who value farming practices that equally respect the people and nature.
Mary has been managing vineyards since 2001 for Bill Harlan. In 2022, she changed directions and stepped aways from day-to-day management. She currently works with the vineyard teams at Harlan and Promontory managing their vineyard developments and oversees Silverado Farming Company's philanthropic work with the community.

Amanda Cihlar is a self-proclaimed plant nerd with a passion for soils and wine styles. With a horticulture degree from Clemson University and a master’s in viticulture from UC Davis, Amanda has over a decade of harvests under her belt in the Willamette Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Napa Valley. Now, she sells grapes from iconic vineyards in Napa and Sonoma, all while mentoring the next generation of wine professionals. When she’s not geeking out over grapes, Amanda loves cooking, reading, hiking, and chasing her two boys around with her loving husband.

Cathy Corison
Cathy Corison has been making wine and growing grapes in the Napa Valley for 50 years. Her goal has always been to make world-class wine that speaks of place, is both powerful and elegant, graces the table and enjoys a long, interesting life. She just completed her 37th vintage of Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and has made wine for many projects in the Napa Valley including Chappellet Vineyard, Staglin Family, York Creek, Long Meadow Ranch and Yverdon. Her two estate vineyards are certified organic, and sustainability is a top priority out in the field and in the cellar.

Douglas Fletcher
Fletcher has enjoyed a distinguished 40-year career in the wine business, first as winemaker at the legendary Martin Ray Vineyards, where he helped restore the prestige of California’s first “boutique” winery; then, at Chimney Rock Winery, where he oversaw the design and construction of the winery and conversion of a golf course to a 105-acre Stags Leap District vineyard; and most recently with the Terlato Wine Group.
Fletcher is a widely quoted authority on vine balance and an expert on vineyard management for high-end wines. A trellising system he devised to optimize fruit maturation—designated “the Fletcher Lyre” by international vineyard consultant Dr. Richard Smart—has been adopted by others.
