HELLS YES. Bâtonnage is gearing up for year two!

Coming off of an amazing first event this past summer, preparations are now underway for a second forum scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019! Save the date!

Meanwhile, we’re looking for two dedicated individuals to join our small and feisty, mad-hustling, all-volunteer team to help make our encore presentation an even greater success.

While volunteering for Bâtonnage is unpaid, you’ll be at the forefront of an exciting, dynamic and positivity-charged movement within the wine industry. Successful candidates will be featured on our website and in promotional materials where appropriate. We can also work with you to provide college internship credit if applicable.

Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for one individual to work alongside and provide administrative support to founder Stevie Stacionis and other team members.

This individual will:

  • Be key in the conception, coordination and execution of promotional fundraising sales.

  • Serve as the communication point person with vendors and panelists.

  • Liaise with other team members and provide support for day-of logistics.

Requirements: Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented with very strong written communication skills and strong initiative, able to commit to working an average of 8 hours per week December-March, increasing to 12 hours per week in April, and must be available for in-person meetings on Wednesdays.

Web & Design Assistant

We’re looking for one individual to provide graphic and technical support for our online communication and outreach efforts as well as assist our “Social Media Maven,” Nicole Ruiz Hudson.

This individual will:

  • Have knowledge of website design, so as to help update and expand our website.

  • Assist with graphic design and layout of external communications.

  • Assist with building site-related content.

  • Provide backup for social media outreach.

  • Design signage and other promotional collateral.


Requirements: Candidate must be able to commit to working an average of 8 to 10 hours per week starting ASAP, and be available for semi-regular in-person weekday meetings.
